专家简介

Dr. Jason C. Whiteis the Director of the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station, the oldest Experiment Station in the United States. He manages an agency budget of $15.2 million and a scientific staff of 100. Dr. White has a research program on the use of nanoscale materials to sustainably increase food production and to develop climate resilient agriculture. Dr. White is a member of the CT Academy of Science and Engineering and of the European Science Foundation College of Experts. He is a Commissioned Official of the United States Food and Drug Administration. He is the Managing Editor for theInternational Journal of Phytoremediation, an Associate Editor forNanoImpact, on the editorial board ofEnvironmental Pollution,ACS Agricultural Science and Technology, and on the Editorial Advisory Boards ofEnvironmental Science & TechnologyandEnvironmental Science & Technology Letters.He is a Clarivate Web of Science Highly Cited Researcher (2020-2023). Dr. White received his Ph.D. in Environmental Toxicology from Cornell University and has secondary appointments at Yale University and the University of Massachusetts. He has an h-index of 90 and has published 300 papers with 28,833 citations.
